KASSAK, Lajos

Initially influenced by the Dadaist movement and after by Moholy-nagy; from 1922 he participated in the Constructivist movement to which he returned after 1950; regarded as having influenced Vasarely, with whom he shared an important edition published and printed by Studio Arcay; he is particularly interesting as having developed a style of Constructivism which lay between the concepts of the Russian Group and those of Mondrian.
