MARINI, Marino

1901 - 1980, Italian; sculptor and painter who brought together the primitive with a forceful vitality. His favourite theme was that of the horse and rider exhibited in numerous centres from Stockholm to the Hague. Widely recognised internationally as one of the outstanding creative figures in mid-century graphics and sculpture.
